Health Minister inspects delayed construction at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital

KATHMANDU: Health Minister Pradeep Paudel conducted an inspection of Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj today, urging swift completion of the hospital’s long-delayed building project.

During his visit, the Paudel reviewed the progress on the hospital’s under-construction facilities and stressed the importance of meeting project deadlines.

Hospital Chief Shreeram Tiwari briefed Paudel on the available treatment services and the hospital’s contributions to public health in the region.

However, Tiwari also expressed frustration over ongoing delays, noting that the construction deadline has been extended three times due to the contractor’s failure to complete the work on schedule.

He said that these delays have hampered service delivery, as the hospital struggles to meet demand without the new facilities.
