Province deserves its constitutional rights: NC leader Nidhi



DHANUSHA: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi has said all seven provinces need to be resourceful with devolution of power as per constitutional provisions.

Spekaing at a program in Mahottari, NC leader Nidhi said as it was NC’s leadership to bring constitution, so the NC itself should take a lead to protect the provisions of constitution.

“It is wrong to say that Madhes government is weak. But, Madhes government is being enfeebled in a planned manner, which must be protested,” he claimed.

The country got a constitution characterized by the federal democratic republic under the leadership of NC, he reminded, adding that NC inherits the inspiration of martyrs including Shiva Chandra Mishra and Durga Nand Jha in Madhes.
