National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) meeting is scheduled to take place at 2:30 pm today.

In today’s session, Education, Science and Technology Minister Bidya Bhattarai is scheduled to propose that the ‘Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081’ be referred to the Legislation Management Committee for review.

Additionally, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya is scheduled to table a directive in accordance with subsection (2) of section 42 of the Act, 2071.

This directive, issued by the Government of Nepal’s Council of Ministers, pertains to the addition of procedures to the commission for investigating disappeared persons, as well as the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071.
