HoR meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament will convene today at 1 pm at the Parliament building, New Baneswor.

During the meeting, the Speaker is scheduled to read a letter from the Office of the President concerning the appointment and responsibilities of the new Ministers of State.

Meanwhile, Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, is scheduled to table an order to address obstacles as outlined in Section 42 of the Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071, based on a decision by the Government of Nepal’s Council of Ministers.

Moreover, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Bidya Bhattarai, is expected to propose that the “Shaheed Dashrath Chand University of Health Sciences Bill, 2080” be referred to the relevant committee for discussion.
