KATHMANDU: Newly elected office bearers and central members of the CPN-Unified Socialist have been sworn in Nepal Academy, Kathmandu on Friday.
Madhav Nepal was unanimously elected as the party chairman, Jhala Nath Khanal as the esteemed leader, and Ghanashyam Bhusal as the general secretary during their 10th General Convention on Thursday.
Additionally, 93 central committee members were announced on Friday.
According to leader Rajendra Pandey, the remaining officials and central members will be finalized on Saturday.
The Unified Socialist party’s statute stipulates the formation of a 299-member central committee, including 21 officials.
