KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign currency exchange rates for Friday (July 5).

According to NRB, the buying and selling rates for the British pound have surpassed 170 Nepalese rupees.

Similarly, the exchange rate for the Euro rose due to the decline in the value of the US dollar and the Qatari riyal on Friday.

Currently, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at 133.30 Nepalese rupees and the selling rate at 133.90 Nepalese rupees.

For the Euro, the buying rate is 143.92 Nepalese rupees and the selling rate is 144.75 Nepalese rupees.

The buying rate for one British pound is 170.02 Nepalese rupees and the selling rate is 170.78 Nepalese rupees.

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is 36.56 Nepalese rupees and the selling rate is 36.72 Nepalese rupees.
