TU Professor dies in bus accident in Kirtipur



KATHMANDU: A tragic bus accident in Kirtipur on Sunday claimed the life of a Tribhuvan University Professor.

The accident involved a bus with the registration number Ba 3 Kha 2027, which was operating on the Ratnapark-Kirtipur route.

Professor Dr. Govinda Rijal lost his life in the accident, while three others sustained injuries.

The injured, identified as Dambar Panta (24), Bimala Shrestha (24), and bus driver Ramesh Lama (27), are currently receiving treatment at the Trauma Center.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, while condolences pour in for the loss of Professor Rijal.
