Two people drown in Doda river



KANCHANPUR: Two persons have drowned while bathing in the Doda river in Kanchanpur.

Two others have been injured in the incident that took place on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Rajendra Kunwar and Vijay Kunwar of Shantipur in Belauri Municipality-7, said Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson of District Police Office Kanchanpur, Umeshraj Joshi.

Samir Subedi and Shishir Bista from the same locality were injured. They are undergoing treatment at local medical centres.
