Weather: Hilly regions to witness partial cloud cover



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has indicated a partial influence of westerly and local winds prevailing over Nepal.

The forecast suggests mostly clear weather across the country, with hilly regions experiencing partial cloud cover.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions in hilly areas, including Koshi province, while the rest of the country anticipates similar weather patterns.

There’s a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of the Koshi Province and a few spots in other hilly regions.

Furthermore, light snowfall is likely at isolated locations in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali provinces, and the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Sudurpaschim Province.

The Division has also indicated at the possibility of storms in select areas of the Terai in the Lumbini Province.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in hilly regions and similar conditions over the rest of the country.
