Ireland Wolves dominates as Nepal ‘A’ bowled out for only 60 runs

Ireland Wolves clinch ODI series title with dominant 114-run victory



KATHMANDU: In a commanding ODI series match, Ireland Wolves secured a resounding 114-run victory against Nepal ‘A’.

Having won the toss, Ireland Wolves opted to bat first and posted a total of 174 runs, losing all 10 wickets in 38.4 overs.

Gavin Hoey led the charge with an impressive 50 runs, supported by Neil Rock and Liam McCarthy who contributed 45 and 35 runs respectively.

In the bowling department, Rijan Dhakal and Shahab Alam shone for Nepal ‘A’, claiming three wickets each, while Mausam Dhakal and Kamal Singh Airee secured two and one wicket(s) respectively.

Chasing the target, Nepal ‘A’ faltered and were bowled out for a mere 60 runs in 16.5 overs.

Matthew James Humphreys starred for Ireland Wolves with a remarkable six-wicket haul, while F. Hand and T. Mayes chipped in with two wickets each.

With this emphatic victory, Ireland Wolves clinched the ODI series title against Nepal ‘A’.
