Ireland Wolves sets 175-run target for Nepal ‘A’ in ODI match



KATHMANDU: In the ongoing second match of the ODI series in Kathmandu, Ireland Wolves has set a target of 175 runs for Nepal ‘A’.

Opting to field first after winning the toss, Nepal ‘A’ invited Ireland Wolves to bat.

The Irish team managed to score 174 runs, losing all 10 wickets in 38.4 overs.

Gavin Hoey led the batting for Ireland Wolves with 50 runs, supported by Neil Rock with 45 runs and Liam McCarthy with 35 runs.

On the bowling front, Rijan Dhakal and Shahab Alam claimed three wickets each, while Mausam Dhakal secured two wickets, and Kamal Singh Airee took one wicket.

After a defeat in the series opener, Nepal needs to secure victory in today’s match to keep their hopes alive in the three-day ODI series.
