Netherlands dominates powerplay, scores 60 runs with 10 wickets in hand



KATHMANDU: The Netherlands’ batting lineup showcased a dominant performance, amassing 60 runs within the powerplay while retaining all 10 wickets.

In the first innings, Nepal had set a target of 185 runs for the Netherlands to claim victory in the series and clinch the title.

The match is currently underway at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, where Nepali bowlers struggled to make breakthroughs.

As the game progressed beyond the powerplay phase, opening batsmen Michael Levitt and Max O’Down remained at the crease, accumulating 34 and 19 runs, respectively.
