Westerly low-pressure system impacting Nepal’s weather

KATHMANDU: A partial influence of the westerly low-pressure system is impacting Nepal’s weather.

As of Tuesday morning, there has been a partial shift in the weather patterns in the hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the areas experience predominantly clear conditions.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will experience partly cloudy conditions.

Additionally, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in isolated locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, encompassing Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Conversely, the weather in other parts of the country will remain predominantly clear.

The Division has forecasted a potential for light snowfall in high hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim regions tonight.
