NC close students demand PM Dahal’s resignation



KATHMANDU: Student leaders affiliated with the influential component of the ruling coalition, Nepali Congress, called for the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal during a rally held in the capital on Friday.

Accusing the Dahal-led government of alleged involvement in state terrorism and corruption, the student leaders, associated with NC’s Nepal Student Union, staged a street demonstration.

Their rallying cries included demands for ‘the resignation of the Prachanda government, an end to state terrorism, stringent actions against gold smugglers, and employment opportunities for the youth.
