KATHMANDU: Shikshit Bhatta, the founder of the ridesharing app ‘Tootle,’ has been arrested by the police.

Allegations, including the misappropriation of funds derived from Tootle’s sales without informing fellow stakeholders, led to Bhatta’s apprehension by a Kathmandu Police team on Thursday night.

Following Bhatta’s arrest, ongoing investigations are being conducted, with Kathmandu Police requesting an extension from the district court for further interrogation.
