Unified Socialist’s secretariat meeting postponed

KATHMANDU: CPN-Unified Socialist’s scheduled secretariat meeting for Friday has been deferred to Saturday.

Jeevanram Shrestha, the central office secretary and a central secretary of the party, announced the rescheduling, citing the senior leaders’ packed schedules.

“The meeting has been postponed to Saturday due to the leaders’ commitments. There’s no other underlying reason,” stated Shrestha.

However, insider sources suggest that the meeting delay is tied to unresolved seat-sharing disagreements within the ruling coalition for the National Assembly elections.
