Tribhuvan University opens applications for Vice Chancellor position in open competition



KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University (TU) has announced an open competition for the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor.

The committee responsible for recommending candidates for the position has released a notice inviting applications.

As per the notice published today, prospective candidates are required to have completed a master’s degree and attained the level of an accomplished scholar. Additionally, applicants must possess a minimum of three years of experience working in a university administrative role.

In order to be considered for the position, candidates are also expected to submit a comprehensive four-year work plan outlining their vision and goals for the university. This plan should reflect the candidate’s strategic approach to advancing the university’s mission and objectives.

The selection committee will thoroughly review all applications and recommend suitable candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and proposed plans for the university’s development.

Interested individuals meeting the specified criteria are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
