Health desk at District Administration Office



NUWAKOT: A health help desk has been set up at District Administration Office Nuwakot for addressing any health-related concerns of senior citizens, who come to the Office for any kind of service.

Chief District Officer Ramakrishna Adhikari said that a health help desk has been brought into operation for free health check-up and distribution of required medicines in collaboration with Trishuli Hospital.

“Since senior citizens have various health problems and do not go for check-ups until they are sick, free health check-up and medicine distribution have been started along with the services of the administration.” he said.

Medical Superintendent of Trishuli Hospital, Dr Rajendra Lama, shared that the service for senior citizens has been brought into operation as per the request of the district administration and as part of the corporate social responsibility of the hospital.

Nurses, health assistants, pharmacy staff are station at the help desk.
