NEPSE sees minor dip, marks 2.73-point drop today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a slight decline of 2.73 points on Thursday, marking the conclusion of the week’s trading.

The NEPSE index closed at 2004.05 points by the end of the trading session.

With 69,63,359 shares of 302 companies being exchanged 56,321 times, NEPSE recorded a total turnover of Rs 3,037,267,307.

Manushi Microfinance, Gurans Microfinance, and Taragaun Residency saw positive circuit breakers in their shares, with Manushi rising by 9.99 percent, Gurans by 9.97 percent, and Taragaun Residency by 9.90 percent.

Conversely, among notable price drops, Peoples Power Limited saw the most significant decline at 9.05 percent, followed by Sarbottam Cement with a 5.85 percent decrease.

In terms of transaction volume and share quantity, Gurkhas Finance registered the highest turnover, totaling Rs 233,291,612.
