KATHMANDU: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has put forward Hasina Khan from Banke as the party’s nominee for lawmaker under the proportional representation quota.

The position became available following the passing of Manju Sharma Ansari, who previously held the seat through the same quota.

This recommendation was decided during the central work execution committee meeting held at the party’s central office in Balkumari, Lalitpur this morning.

The meeting also addressed upcoming April by-elections and discussed plans for the party’s national convention, among other matters.
