Gold price hits new peak: Reaches Rs 134,000 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold prices have soared to a new record, with fine gold reaching Rs 134,000 per tola on Thursday.

The surge of Rs 1,000 per tola comes in the wake of Wednesday’s already record-breaking spike.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 134,000 per tola and standard gold is traded at Rs 133,350 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,650 per tola today.

The Federation regularly adjusts gold and silver prices in the domestic market based on international market rates.
