Singer Rajesh Payal Rai released after Kathmandu arrest



KATHMANDU: Renowned singer Rajesh Payal Rai has been released from custody after his arrest in Kathmandu last night.

The police reported that Rai, along with two others, was apprehended for causing disturbances and consuming alcohol.

The arrest took place near Madan Bhandari College in Kathmandu following complaints from local residents regarding noise and disruption.

Rai, upon release, has reportedly pledged to refrain from engaging in such behavior in the future, as conveyed by the authorities.
