Vehicular movement yet to resume in Daunne area

NAWALPUR: Full-fledged vehicular movement is still not operational at Daunne area in Nawalparasi (Bardhaghat Susta East) since Sunday evening.

The disruption occurred after rainfall washed away mud in the area where road upgradation work was underway on Sunday evening.

Inspector Sajan Kumar Sharma at the District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), reported that the problem has persisted in vehicular movement due to the slippery road.

Hundreds of passengers and vehicles remain stranded following the road disruption.

The under-construction Narayangadh-Butwal road section has now turned muddy due to the rainfall.
