Three ministers from new coalition sworn in



KATHMANDU: Three ministers from the recently formed ruling coalition took the oath of office and secrecy at the President’s Office in Sheetal Niwas on Monday.

Padam Giri from CPN-UML, Hit Bahadur Tamang from the CPN-Maoist Center, and Dol Prasad Aryal (DP) from the Rastriya Swatantra Party were sworn in today.

President Ramchandra Poudel administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers on Monday evening.

The trio assumed their roles as ministers without portfolios.

Notably, Padam Giri, formerly the Minister of Health and Population, and Aryal, who held the position of Minister of Labor and Employment, were part of the UML’s inclusion in the government.

Present on the swearing-in ceremony were Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, and other prominent figures from constitutional bodies, high-ranking officials of diplomatic missions, and senior government officials.
