DSP found dead inside APF Office in Morang



KATHMANDU: A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from the Armed Police Force was discovered dead within the office premises in Morang.

The deceased is identified as 38-year-old Upendra Basyal, hailing from Palpa and actively serving in the Armed Police Force.

DSP Basyal was found hanging by a rope tied to a ceiling fan inside his office.

He was in charge of the Border Outpost (BOP) in Sorabhag, located in Dhanpalthan-3.

The police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

A team from the Nepal Police has reached the incident site for further inquiry and to ascertain the actual details of the incident.
