PM Dahal at Sheetal Niwas to apprise President Paudel of evolving political landscape



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has reached Sheetal Niwas, President’s Office, for a meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel.

Following the decision to collapse the coalition with the Nepali Congress and realign the government with the left coalition, Prime Minister Dahal arrived at Sheetal Niwas to apprise the President of the evolving political landscape.

Source said that during the meeting, it is anticipated that Prime Minister Dahal will provide the President with comprehensive insights into the recent political developments and elucidate the decision to reorganize the government in collaboration with CPN-UML.

In conjunction with these deliberations, four ministers are set to take the oath of office and secrecy on Monday afternoon, marking the formalization of the newly formed Left Alliance government.

Among those slated to be sworn in are Padam Giri from CPN-UML, Barshman Pun from Maoist Center, Upendra Yadav from Janata Samajwadi Paryt, and Rabi Lamichhane from Rastriya Swatantra Party, who will assume their ministerial roles in the initial phase of the government formation.
