KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center has decided to send Deputy General Secretary Barsaman Pun to the cabinet.
A party insider, who attended the Secretariat meeting today, revealed to Khabarhub that such a decision was made.
“The ministry has not been confirmed yet. However, later today, he will be sworn in as a minister in the government,” the source stated.
Contrarily, another party official hinted that Pun might be designated to the Ministry of Finance.
The informed party member commented, “Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Pun is highly likely to assume the role of the Finance Minister.”
