KATHMANDU: In response to recent political developments, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called an emergency meeting of office bearers at 10 am today.

The meeting is set to take place at Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha.

Party leader Jiwan Pariyar said that the primary focus of the meeting will center on pertinent issues related to alliances and the current government.

The urgency of the meeting was heightened as Deuba initiated the call shortly after departing from Baluwatar.

Nepali Congress leaders anticipate that the deliberations will also delve into the crucial matter of a potential government reshuffle.
