NC President Deuba assigns responsibilities to sub-committee coordinators to make Mahasamiti meeting effective



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC), currently in power, is gearing up for the forthcoming Mahasamiti meeting scheduled to kick off on February 19.

Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed coordinators for eight sub-committees, laying the groundwork for the Mahasamiti meeting that is set to commence on 19th February.

During a meeting of the organizing committee on Sunday, NC President Deuba assigned responsibilities to the coordinators of various sub-committees.

According to information from the party’s central office, Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel revealed the appointed coordinators for key sub-committees.

Meen Bahadur Bishwakarma has been assigned as the coordinator for the Publicity and Broadcasting Sub-Committee, Madan Bahadur Amatya for the Accommodation Coordination Sub-Committee, Uday Shumsher Rana for the Food Management Sub-Committee, and Dhana Khatiwada for the Transportation Management Sub-Committee.

Additionally, Jeet Jung Basnet will lead the Volunteer Operation Sub-Committee, Urmila Nepal KC will oversee the Health Coordination Sub-Committee, Indra Bahadur Baniya has been appointed for the Provincial Coordination Sub-Committee, and Jitendra Shrestha (District President, Lalitpur) will take charge of the Local Management Sub-Committee.

President Deuba expressed confidence in the appointed coordinators, stating that they will skillfully fulfill their responsibilities to ensure the Mahasamiti meeting is well-organized and effective.
