PM Oli lays wreath at Martyrs’ Monument in China



BEIJING: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument commemorating the people’s heroes of the Chinese revolution.

PM Oli, who is on a four-day official visit to China, offered a wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument at Tiananmen Square in Beijing today.

The Prime Minister arrived in Beijing on Monday at the friendly invitation of Chinese Premier, Li Qiang.

He is scheduled to call on Chinese President Xi Jinping later today, according to the Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba.

Earlier, Prime Minister Oli had a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart where various issues of bilateral interest were discussed, along with the signing of nine-point MoU between the two countries.

The PM-led Nepali delegation would return home on December 5.
