Deadline for cooperative fraud investigation extended by 15 days



KATHMANDU: The deadline for the Parliamentary Special Committee to investigate the cooperative fraud case and submit its report has been extended by 15 days.

Surya Bahadur Thapa, Chairman of the committee and a lawmaker, proposed the extension during a House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Tuesday.

The proposal was unanimously approved by the members.

Initially, the committee was allocated three months to complete its investigation, with the original deadline set for September 7.
