Seven deaths in 34 accidents over three years in Humla



HUMLA: Over the past three years, the district has seen a total of 34 road accidents, with seven fatalities reported, according to the District Police Office, Humla.

Most of these accidents have been attributed to road defects.

Police Inspector Narendra Chand noted that in the fiscal year 2078/79BS, there were six accidents that resulted in the death of a child.

In the fiscal year 2079/80BS, there were 10 accidents, leading to two deaths and 24 injuries, none of which were serious.

The most recent fiscal year saw 18 accidents, with five fatalities and 35 injuries, marking it as the year with the highest number of incidents.
