NC-UML government formed for political stability: DPM Singh



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, stated that the two major parties in parliament, the Nepali Congress (NC) and the UML, formed the current government to ensure political stability.

Speaking at a program organized by the NC constituency no-1 of Kathmandu, DPM Singh emphasized the need for major political parties to unite for political stability and socioeconomic development.

He reiterated that the government is fully engaged in activities aimed at socioeconomic development.

He urged party cadres to participate in efforts that improve people’s lives and service delivery, as this would contribute to the government’s success.

On the same occasion, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law in Bagmati Province, Suraj Chandra Lamichhane, expressed confidence that the current government, formed by major political parties, would work in a manner that yields positive results.
