DANG: An auto-rickshaw was swept away by the flooded Kalakhola in Tulsipur along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section of Dang last night.

The driver of the auto-rickshaw (Ra. 1 Sa. 2357), identified as 22-year-old Durga, a resident of Tulsipur-7, is missing, according to Police Inspector Prakash Thapa of the Area Police Office in Tulsipur.

The police have initiated a search operation for the missing driver.

Excessive rainfall has caused the floodwater from the Kalakhola to flow over the road, leading to the incident.
