NEPSE sees slight increase with over Rs 5 billion in transactions



KATHMANDU: After significant fluctuations on Tuesday, the stock market remained relatively stable on Wednesday.

The NEPSE index saw a modest rise of 3.79 points today.

Yesterday, the index had surged by 47 points.

Today, the NEPSE index increased by 0.18 percent, closing at 2104 points.

A total of 101 companies saw their share prices rise, while 136 companies experienced a decline.

The stock market witnessed 61,199 transactions involving 314 companies, with 17.34 million shares traded.

The total transaction value for the day reached Rs 5.08 billion.

Manjushree Finance had the highest transaction value, with shares worth Rs 230.1 million traded.

ICFC Finance followed with Rs 174.9 million in transactions, and Reliance Finance saw transactions worth Rs 165.2 million.
