BAGLUNG: The Kaligandaki corridor has been obstructed due to incessant rains causing flooding in Theulekhola of Baglung.

Vehicles bound for Butwal, Bhairahawa, Kapilvastu, Dang, and Muktinath have been stranded as a result of the flooding in Theulekhola in Jaimini Municipality-1 of Baglung.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijay Yadav, Information Officer of District Police Office, Baglung, the blockade has halted vehicles destined for Baglung market from areas.

The ongoing rains, persisting over the past few days, have also inflicted damage on the national pride project Madhyapahari Lokmarg (Midhill Highway).

Specifically, approximately 15 kilometers of road from Galkot Municipality-3 Hatiya to Badigad Rural Municipality-2 Hadikhola has been affected.

However, Galkot Municipality spokesman Him Bahadur Bhandari confirmed that the public road is operational again following the removal of landslides.
