KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane emphasized the urgent need to revise laws pertaining to disaster management, stating that saving citizens’ lives during disasters has become overly complex.
Addressing the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Executive Committee meeting at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) on Monday, DPM Lamichhane urged that activities related to disaster management should not be hindered by bureaucratic hurdles.
