Lumbini govt expansion: Maoist Center’s Krishna KC appointed minister

BUTWAL: The Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Jokh Bahadur Mahara, expanded his cabinet on Monday by appointing Krishna KC from the CPN-Maoist Center.

KC was sworn in as the Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation by Province Chief Amik Sherchan today.

This addition brings the Lumbini government’s cabinet to a total of 12 members.

Despite having 10 ministries previously, two additional ministries have been added to the province to ensure balanced power sharing.
