NEPSE sees marginal decline of 0.19 percent closing at 2,079.07



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) ended the day today (Monday) with a slight setback, witnessing a 0.19 percent decrease or 3.97 points, culminating at 2,079.07 points by the end of trading today.

This followed a previous session’s uptick of 13.51 points.

Opening at 2,087.8 points, the trading day saw NEPSE reach an intraday peak of 2,096.57.

Despite this, the index later dipped to 2,073.02 points before settling at 2,079.07 points.

Today’s trading activity encompassed 316 stocks, exchanged through 59,295 transactions.

The traded shares amounted to 8,820,125, yielding a total turnover of Rs. 4 billion.
