Class 12 examinee shot in Jhapa



KATHMANDU: Anika Adhikari, a grade 12 examinee, was shot in Damak, Jhapa.

The incident occurred as she was returning home after attending her exam at Himalayan Secondary School in Damak on Friday.

Adhikari is currently receiving treatment at Life Line Hospital in Damak.

Originally from Udayapur, Adhikari resided in Damak in a rented room.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are actively searching for those involved.

One individual implicated in the shooting has been identified as Amit Kumar Yadav from Siraha.
