Cyclist struck by motorcycle in Siraha dies



SIRAHA: Badri Yadav, a 57-year-old cyclist and resident of Municipality-9, tragically lost his life last evening following a collision with a motorcycle bearing the license plate Province 2-01-004 Pa 0835.

The incident occurred on Dumri road in Kalyanpur Municipality-9, as Yadav was cycling from Kalyanpur to Mirchaiya.

Yadav sustained severe injuries in the collision and succumbed to them during treatment at a hospital.

Furthermore, two pedestrians injured in the accident are currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital, while another individual who was riding the motorcycle involved is receiving medical care at Mangalam Hospital Mirchaiya.

The police have apprehended the motorcyclist post-treatment and are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
