Ten individuals shortlisted for Mid-West University Vice Chancellor



KATHMANDU: Ten individuals have been shortlisted for an appointment on the post of Vice-Chancellor of Mid-West University.

Those shortlisted individuals include Prof Dr Kabi Prasad Pokhrel, Prof Dr Keshar Singh Rana, Prof Dr Dev Bahadur Khadka, Prof Dr Dhruba Kumar Gautam, Prof Dr Nanda Bahadur Singh and Prof Dr Binay Kumar Mishra.

Prof Dr Bholanath Sharma Ghimire, Prof Dr Mukund Prasad Chhetri, Prof Dr Yam Bahadur Karki and Prof Dr Shobhkhar Kandel have also been shortlisted for the appointment, according to a notice issued by Vice Chancellor Selection and Recommendation Committee.

It is said the Committee received 11 applications for the selection round and one has been rejected as it did not meet specified criteria.

The shortlisted candidates have been asked to present a vision paper and a four-year professional work plan by coming April 9.

The post has turned vacant since February 24 after the then Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nanda Bahadur Singh’s term ended.
