Gold price soars to unprecedented levels

Fine gold traded at Rs 133,000 per tola on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has once again soared to unprecedented levels.

After experiencing a slight dip yesterday (Tuesday), gold prices surged by Rs 1,800 per tola today, following Monday’s record-setting spike.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 133,000 per tola and standard gold is traded at Rs 132,350 per tola.

The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs. 131,200 per tola, and standard gold at Rs. 130,550 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,610 per tola today.

The Federation fixes the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market on a daily basis based on the price rates in the international market.
