KATHMANDU: The District Police Office in Chitwan has emphasized the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of a 14-year-old student from Ekata Shishu Niketan Boarding School in Ratnanagar Municipality.
They have urged the public not to share any material that could potentially influence the investigation process.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sriram Bhandari, spokesperson for the office, issued a statement on Saturday urging restraint in disseminating content that may affect the investigation, particularly as forensic test reports are still pending.
The Nepal Police is handling this sensitive matter with the utmost seriousness and professionalism, adhering to the legal framework and employing efficiency and discretion in their approach, as specified by law, the statement affirms.
It assures the victim’s family and the public that the investigation will be conducted objectively, relying on scientific examination and technical analysis of the incident.
