KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing a widespread cloud cover, with specific regions such as Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces, as well as select areas in Sudurpaschim province, encountering light rainfall.

The Weather Forecast Division has indicated that a general cloudiness will persist across the nation later this afternoon.

The Division has forecasted potential light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in numerous locations within Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, Gandaki, Bagmati provinces, and certain hilly areas of the Koshi Province.

Scattered to light rain is expected in various parts of the country today, according to the Division.

IT has also forecasted the likelihood of light to moderate snowfall in many high hills and Himalayan regions.

Tonight, the Nepal is expected to experience partly to mostly cloudy conditions.

Light to moderate rainfall is anticipated in select areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Sudurpaschim, and Karnali provinces.

The Division has also noted the potential for light snowfall in specific high hilly and Himalayan areas of the country.
