UML Chair Oli affirms commitment to safeguard national interests



KATHMANDU: The Chairperson of the CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, has emphasized the party’s dedication to playing a responsible role in safeguarding national interests.

Speaking at today’s UML parliamentary party meeting, Chair Oli highlighted the significant role of the opposition in ensuring the effectiveness of parliamentary practices.

During the session, he directed party lawmakers to vocally address any anomalies observed in the country and to present their views with conviction.

Stressing the importance of a robust and active opposition in parliament, Chair Oli urged lawmakers to engage thoughtfully and actively.

He stated, “Lawmakers should facilitate the functioning of parliament and committee meetings in an organized manner, enhancing its activity level and encouraging thorough discussions.”
