KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly winds currently affecting Nepal.

Presently, the weather is predominantly clear in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

However, the remaining areas are experiencing partial cloud cover, with fog observed in certain Terai locations.

As the day progresses, the weather is expected to maintain clarity in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces during the afternoon.

Conversely, the rest of the region will experience partial cloudiness.

Moreover, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in isolated spots within the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

During the night, there will be a partial shift in the weather for the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the remaining regions will continue to experience generally clear conditions.

There is also a possibility of snowfall in the high hilly and Himalayan areas, according to the Division’s forecast.

Due to decreasing temperatures resulting from fog, foggy conditions, and snow, the Division has urged the people to take necessary measures to combat the cold.
