Gopal Sigdel
KATHMANDU: Gopal Sigdel has been appointed as the Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development .
The position had been vacant following the retirement of Secretary Maniram Gelal.
The Cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to assign Sigdel to the ministry.
On Monday, ministry staff welcomed Secretary Sigdel, who assumed his duties immediately after the reception.
Prior to this, Sigdel served as the Secretary at the Water and Energy Commission.
