UML’s Shahi elected Chairman of Dailekh’s Mahabu Rural Municipality

DAILEKH: CPN-UML candidate Jung Bahadur Shahi has been elected chairman of Mahabu Rural Municipality in Dailekh, securing 3,127 votes.

His closest competitor, Nepali Congress’s Jhalak Bahadur Bhandari, received 2,675 votes, while Maoist Center’s Jung Bahadur Baral garnered 842 votes.

In the 2079 BS elections, Nepali Congress had won the position in this municipality.
