Home Minister Lamichhane holding talks with PM Dahal amid political turmoil

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has reached Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar to hold talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Lamichhane, who is also the Chairman of Rastriya Samajbadi Party (RSP), reached Baluwatar just a while ago to discuss the emerging situation following the ruling party CPN-UML’s initiation of alliance with the Nepali Congress.

The RSP has already decided not to participate in the new coalition.

Politics has grown turbulent following the UML and Nepali Congress’ agreement on power sharing late Monday night.
